How much does a website cost in Belgium?

Here are the public prices of 20 Belgian providers in October 2026, for a brochure website, a subscription or an online shop, and how to compare two quotes.

Updated on 24 October 2026

In short

On 23 October 2026, we collected the prices shown by 20 Belgian providers, freelancers as well as agencies. In this survey, a brochure website paid for in one go costs from €500 to €12,500 excluding VAT, and most custom offers fall between €1,500 and €5,000. Subscription websites range from €57 to €199 a month, often with set-up fees and a minimum term of 12 to 24 months. To compare two quotes, look at the total cost over two or three years and at who owns the website.

How much does a brochure website cost as a one-off payment?

A brochure website presents the business, its services and the way to contact it. It is the most common case for a self-employed professional or a small business.

Type of offerPrices shown, excluding VATWhat you most often get
Entry-level offer€500 to €1,600A template adapted to your colours, a few pages, texts that you provide
Custom website€1,500 to €5,000A structure designed for your trade, carefully written texts, basic SEO
Full project€4,500 to €12,500Several languages, many pages, features such as online booking or online quotes

For a redesign, the only provider in the survey that shows a price lists €1,500 to €3,500. An online shop starts at between €850 and €2,000 depending on the provider, and the prices shown go up to €15,000 for more than 200 products.

Subscription or one-off payment?

Some providers sell the website by the month, for €57 to €199. The starting price is low, and there are three things to check before you sign.

  • The set-up fees. In the survey, they range from €249 to €1,873 depending on the package.
  • The minimum term. It ranges from 12 to 24 months among the providers that state it.
  • Who owns the website. With some providers, the website stays theirs for as long as you subscribe, and you cannot take it with you if you leave.

Work out the cost over the whole minimum term. A subscription at €69 a month for 24 months, with €249 for set-up, comes to €1,905 excluding VAT. At €129 a month over the same period, it already comes to €3,096 before any set-up fee. A subscription spreads the cost, which helps you get started, but it sometimes costs more than a website paid for in one go.

What makes the price vary

  • The number of pages. One page per service also helps you be found on Google.
  • The texts. Writing them for you takes time, and this is often what sets apart a website that makes people want to call.
  • The photos. Real photos of your work are worth more than stock images, but they have to be sorted or taken.
  • The languages. Each language adds texts to translate and pages to keep up to date.
  • The features. A booking system, online quotes or a customer area require development work.
  • The online shop. The number of products, payments and deliveries push the price up.

The costs after the website goes live

A website keeps costing money after it has been delivered. In the survey, the domain name and hosting cost from €90 to €450 a year. Maintenance, when it is offered separately, costs from €39 to €249 a month. It covers updates, backups and, depending on the package, small changes.

How do you compare two quotes?

  1. Work out the total cost over two or three years, with the set-up, the monthly payments, hosting and maintenance.
  2. Check the minimum term and what happens if you stop.
  3. Ask who owns the website, the domain name and the accounts, such as the Google Business Profile or Google Analytics.
  4. Look at what is included, such as the texts, the photos, basic SEO, the contact form and the languages.
  5. Compare how long each provider takes to put the website online.
  6. Ask who will answer you once the website is live, and how quickly.

And with us?

We do not publish a price list, because every website starts from the business it presents. After a free first call of 30 minutes, you receive a written proposal with a total price fixed in advance. You can pay it in one go or in monthly instalments, and the website is online within 1 to 3 weeks depending on the project. If you ever stop our ongoing support, we hand everything over to you, so that you can carry on by yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Is a €500 website worth it?

It can be enough to get started, if it is fast, easy to read on a phone and registered in your name. At that price, it is most often an adapted template, with texts that you provide.

Why do some websites cost more than €10,000?

These projects often include many pages, several languages, texts written for you and features such as online booking or online quotes, sometimes with an online shop.

Do the prices shown include VAT?

Most providers show their prices excluding VAT, which is charged at 21%. Check the wording on each quote.

Is there any financial help for a website in Brussels?

The Brussels-Capital Region offers a digitalisation grant, the Prime Digitalisation, which refunds part of the eligible expenses, from 25% to 70% depending on the case, with a ceiling of €10,000 a year. It comes with conditions, including for the provider, who must have been working as a consultant for at least two years. Check your case with Bruxelles Économie et Emploi (Brussels Economy and Employment) before you sign.
